3. Voice Demonstration & Audio Samples Disclaimer

All voice recordings, audio previews, and sound snippets hosted on this website (including the interactive voice preview player) are synthesized, pre-recorded, or simulated demonstrations. They are provided strictly for the purpose of illustrating technical pitch modulation, digital signal processing (DSP), and audio frequency adjustment capabilities.

• Voice samples do not represent, clone, or depict any actual individual without authorization.
• Audio samples are not sold as synthetic voice identities or likenesses.
• Actual results with live microphone input will vary based on your individual vocal characteristics, room acoustics, and microphone hardware.

4. Open-Source Software Attributions & Licensing

MicMorph acknowledges and complies with the open-source software libraries and audio utilities utilized in its development and execution:

• SoundTouch Audio Processing Library: Developed by Olli Parviainen. Licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License v2.1 (LGPLv2.1). Used for real-time digital pitch transposition.
• BlackHole Virtual Audio Driver: Created and maintained by Existential Audio Inc. Licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPLv3). MicMorph does not bundle or distribute modified BlackHole binaries; MicMorph facilitates the standard, unbundled installation of the official driver for audio routing.
• Tauri Desktop Framework: Licensed under the MIT License and Apache License 2.0. Copyright (c) Tauri Programme within The Commons Conservancy.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use MicMorph exclusively for lawful, ethical, and authorized purposes. You explicitly agree that you shall NOT use MicMorph to:

• Engage in fraudulent activities, financial scams, identity theft, or deceptive impersonation.
• Conduct voice phishing ("vishing"), social engineering scams, or unauthorized spoofing of individuals or institutions.
• Harass, stalk, threaten, defame, or intimidate any person.
• Violate any local, state, federal, or international wiretapping, eavesdropping, or audio recording consent laws (including one-party or two-party consent statutes). You are solely and exclusively responsible for ensuring that all participants in any recorded or streamed communication have provided any legally required consent.
• Interfere with emergency services, healthcare facilities, or government institutions.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties ("AS IS")

THE SOFTWARE AND WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, MICMORPH AND ITS DEVELOPERS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, SYSTEM INTEGRATION, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, BUG-FREE, COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY SYSTEM CONFIGURATION, OR CAPABLE OF ACHIEVING ANY SPECIFIC ACOUSTIC RESULT.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MICMORPH, ITS CREATORS, DEVELOPERS, OR CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF REPUTATION, OR HARDWARE MALFUNCTION) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL MICMORPH'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO MICMORPH IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (OR $0.00 IF YOU USED THE SOFTWARE FREE OF CHARGE).

8. User Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MicMorph, its developers, maintainers, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or legal fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) resulting from or arising out of your violation of these Terms of Service, your misuse of the Software, or your violation of any law or rights of a third party.

9. Governing Law & Severability

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
